OPPORTUNITIES FOR CREDIT RECOVERY AND ADVANCEMENT
Summer School Information

High School Program
CNUSD is pleased to offer a summer program for all high school students entering grades 10-12. The purpose of summer school is two-fold:
- Credit recovery for seniors, juniors, and sophomores (in priority order), and to some extent, A-G recovery for seniors, juniors, and sophomores.
- Provide flexible scheduling for students in LCAP priority areas such as AVID and CTE.
- The Corona-Norco Unified School District Summer Bridge Program is free and designed to help incoming 9th graders prepare for success upon entering high school. We have four programs to service many of our incoming high school students which are held on the three summer school high school campuses, taught by CNUSD experts in each field to provide the best exposure to curricula and skills needed in each area at the high school level.
As space permits, we accommodate each student based on their need and the priority areas above.
Extended School Year
Through the Special Education department, K-12 students eligible for Extended School Year are able to take part in summer school. Parents and students should discuss this with their case carrier for more information.
