Election Editing Directions

These are old directions, but if using HTML style items.

1. Create a folder on your computer, save images to that folder. Use FirstnameLastname naming convention for images. "ClarkKent.jpg" for example.

  • All student images are varying in size and proportion, for consistency each photo should be resized to a uniform width (240 px)
  • Go to or if you have photo editing software use it to resize/crop photos.

2. Create a section "ASB Elections" or use existing configuration/section. Under Tools tab, open Files & Folders create a new folder called Pix. Upload your resized images to this folder.

3. Under Tools are the Forms & Surveys, each survey has the HTML code for each candidate.

  • Title and Alt fields should be updated to match candidates name. The directory#/pix/FirstLast name must be edited to match your upload area. Also, because student photos are different you may also need to edit the "height" to match the proportions of the image. Secondly copy/paste the speech text between the > <p> tags. Then SAVE.

Hey all you sophomores, I hope you guys are having a great Monday. If you don’t know me by now, my name is Cody Lewis and I’m running for Junior class secretary. I should get your votes because I’ve been in ASB 2 years now, and will most likely be that guy who sells his soul to ASB. With me as your secretary, I will take all of your opinions and put them out there for ASB to hear. So with me, you’ll have a Junior year, you’ll never forget, one you’ll tell your grandkids about. So when it’s time to check that ballot, click on my face and you won’t regret it. Vote the best, Cody Lewis. Thank you Centennial, I hope you guys have a great day.<p></p></span></p>
